Does Fun Services carry insurance?
Yes! We are serious about fun, but we are also serious about our safety and responsibility to our clients and staff. Should anything unexpected occur during an event, Fun Services carries a minimum of $2,000,000 in liability insurance. We offer the option of an additional $1,000,000 liability policy specific to your organization and your event. Our professional liability insurance covers all of our events and for peace of mind, we can add any organization or company as an additional insured onto our policy for their event. We would be happy to provide you with a proof of insurance certificate.
Because we hire our own employees to staff events, we also carry State required Workers’ Compensation Insurance to protect our customers and employees. Not all companies “employ” their staffing and cannot or do not provide the same level of protection and training for them and you.
How can I know if I am getting the best price?
Fun Services strives to provide the best quality and service at the best price. Our expertise comes from over thirty years in the entertainment equipment business. Our prices are right in line with the industry standard and our local competition. Our products are made of quality materials and we make sure that our equipment is set-up correctly because your safety is always our number one concern. How far in advance should I reserve my equipment?
Fun Services has one of the largest owned-inventories of interactive entertainment equipment on the East Coast! We pride ourselves in being able to provide you with the entertainment you desire for your event and will make every effort to help you reserve what you need, when you need it! Because of the high volume of business we do, it is best to call at least two to three weeks in advance, so that we can plan for delivery of your equipment. Some events are booked one year in advance, but sometimes we are able to accommodate last-minute events, as well. Fun Services must receive the signed contract within ten days in order to hold your event. As soon as you know what kind of outrageous entertainment you want, give us a call and we’ll be happy to help you plan your event.
Does Fun Services provide staffing?
Yes! Fun Services is proud to offer experienced staffing to handle your event. They will set-up and explain each piece of equipment and will return to take the equipment down after your event. They will also leave cell phone numbers in case you need their help during the event.
Most of our entertainment equipment is able to be supervised and operated by the renter. If you would like Fun Services staff to stay at your event to operate the equipment, we can provide you with our expert personnel for a small labor fee. At the time of reservation we can discuss your staffing needs and the options available.
Does Fun Services deliver?
Yes! Fun Services has a large fleet of company owned and insured vehicles. This enables us to operate more efficiently and provide timely delivery and set-up for your events. Our delivery fee is based on your location. Just tell us the location and we’ll be more than happy to get you a delivery quote. We happily service Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia.
How do I pay for my entertainment rentals?
We offer you a variety of payment options for your event. We are happy to accept cash, personal checks, company checks, Visa, and MasterCard. We will also do phone orders for your convenience. We offer you the ability to pay a deposit on your equipment rentals to secure the best items to fit your event as far in advance as you want! For deliveries, we require 50% of the total bill at least four weeks before the event or at time of booking. The remaining balance is then due at delivery. For pick-up rentals, we require a security deposit and rental fee due at pick-up. When the item is returned in proper condition, the security deposit is returned to you. For certain organizations we are able to accept purchase orders. Any organization that wishes to use tax-exempt status must provide a copy of their tax-exempt certificate.
What is Fun Services’ rain policy?
If due to heavy rain, extreme wind, or flood, an event must be cancelled with our office 3 days before the event is to take place. Payments and deposits will not be refunded, but can be applied to a rescheduled date within one year of original event date.
